A MAN involved in four burglary incidents in Southampton has been ordered to do unpaid work.
Justin Peter Harris, 43, committed two burglaries in the city.
In one of the burglaries, on London Road on September 26, he stole copper pipes and brass tops of fire extinguishers.
He also stole tools in a burglary on Shirley Road, which took place some time between September 26 and September 28.
Harris also committed two attempted burglaries, one in September and the other in November.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Harris, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary and two counts of attempted burglary.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of amphetamine, a Class B drug.
Harris was given a 12 month community order, including 180 hours of unpaid work, including 18 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90.
