THERE is a brand-new art exhibition and craft market debuting at Crofton School this weekend.

Crofton Art Fest is a brand-new open art display, packed with hundreds of stalls too, and is presented by the Crofton Partnership in support of the school's educational projects.

The event will comprise more than 200 works by local artists, an art competition by local schools, a separate exhibition from Crofton School and music from pupils.

WINCHESTER Film Festival concludes this weekend.

At its heart it aims to provide a fair and open platform for talented emerging and seasoned short filmmakers.

Shortlisted films are showcased and promoted throughout the week-long festival, but the icing on the cake is the prizes and black-tie award ceremony, with keynote speakers from the industry.
