LEADING figures from industry, business and the sports world came together for the Hampshire Lord Taverners’ Ball at The De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.
The Lord’s Taverners is a unique club and charity that was founded in 1950 at the Old Tavern at Lord’s in London. Through the efforts of its influential members, who include personalities such as David Gower, Jimmy Tarbuck and Chris Tarrant, it raises more than £1 million a year to help give young people, particularly those with special needs, a sporting chance.
