The apparent campaign to deny Bitterne Park residents recognition of their specific habitat in Southampton continues.
On Friday's lunchtime Meridian News Fred Dineage, no less, spoke of Bitterne Park School 'in Bitterne'.
Ok, he doesn't write the script, but ITV, if you don't believe me look on Google (Maps), that contemporary authority on contentious matters.
Bitterne Park is shown as a wholly different district from Bitterne. Both are titled in similarly bold type.
In fact, we have our own (unique?) sub-district shown: Midanbury! Bitterne Park is not a sub-district of Bitterne.
Full marks, on this occasion at least, to the Echo for correctly referencing Bitterne Park Triangle in Saturday's paper!
