A TEST Valley villager has been fined for causing an road accident.

Christopher Maurice Harrison, 64, of Chapel Lane, Broughton, near Stockbridge admitted driving a 12-reg Hyundai without due care and attention in an incident on Charlton Road, Andover, on April 11.

Harrison also admitted failing to give personal details to David Chatfield, the driver of a Ford Focus involved in the crash, or informing the police within 24 hours.

Magistrates in Basingstoke fined Harrison £130 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Seven penalty points were added to his licence.
