A DROP of Caribbean sunshine accompanied came to Southampton - as did a few drops of rum
The Barbados Tourist Board held an information evening at the Radio Café in West Quay on November 25, 1999.
City travel agents were among the guests who attended to find out more about what about what the West Indian island had to offer tourists.
A steel band played as visitors drank rum punch, ate delicious Caribbean food and watched limbo dancers in action.
Guests played games and entered a quiz - the winner bagging themselves a trip to Barbados.
