BURGLARS targeted another Tesco in Eastleigh as the windows were smashed overnight.
Bottles of alcohol were stolen from the Tesco Express in Bishopstoke Road, Bishopstoke as the thieves used breeze blocks to smash the windows to gain entry.
Police were called in the early hours of the morning as they rushed to the scene.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 5.52am today (Oct 18) to a report of a burglary at the Tesco store on Bishopstoke Road.
"A breeze block had been thrown through the glass front, entry had been gained, and several bottles of Vodka had been stolen.
"It is believed the incident happened sometime between 11.30pm on Oct 17 and 5.30am on Oct 18.
"Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 101 and quote 44190372672."
A spokesperson from Tesco said: “We have reported this break-in to the police and are supporting them with their enquiries.
"The Bishopstoke Express store is open and serving customers as normal.”
This is the second Tesco in Eastleigh to be broken into within 24 hours.
Two trays from its tills were taken by the burglars.
