A MAN who stole two Marks and Spencer sandwiches has been fined.
Christopher Patrick Heffron, 47, stole the two sandwiches, worth a total of £7.20, from a store at Winchester Railway Station on July 16.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Heffron pleaded guilty to theft and committing an offence while on a conditional discharge.
He was made the subject of a 12 month community order, including 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
Heffron, of Trussell Crescent, Winchester, was also fined £75, ordered to pay £40 court costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
