HUNDREDS of revellers stepped back to the 1920s to raise money for a Hampshire Hospice.

Nearly 400 party-goers donned flapper dresses, strings of pearls and wore feathers in their hair to attend a charity ball on October 16, 1999.

A special auction saw its star lot, a lithograph by Prince Charles, raise nearly £4,000 for the Countess Mountbatten Hospice Appeal. A holiday villa in Mustique went for £9,000.
