FIREFIGHTERS were called a blaze involving batteries on a 140-tonne fuel barge in Portsmouth Dockyard.
Crews from Gosport and Eastleigh were joined by colleagues by colleagues from Southsea, Cosham and Havant.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue service spokesperson confirmed the incident was in the dockyard but was unable to release any further details.
