EASTLEIGH film fanatics can look forward to the return of an annual festival for film lovers.

The Eastleigh Film Festival will be returning on September 23.

Curated by The Point Theatre, the event gives residents the opportunity to watch some of their favourite films at several venues across the borough for an entire week.

Returning for its sixth year running, organisers said this year’s festival will feature 15 films at eight venues across six days

Two of the event’s headliners – The Lost Boys and The Cabin in the Woods – are sold out, and there are only five tickets remaining for the festival’s opening night.

Audiences are invited to screenings in the woods after dark, a working brewery, the arrivals lounge at Southampton Airport and some of Eastleigh’s best dining establishments to name just a few.

To top it all off, the festival will close with a screening of Back to the Future on The Swan Centre’s rooftop car park.
