A NIGHT of Ibiza anthems with a live orchestra is coming to a park in Southampton later this month.

Summertime Live bring their show to Hoglands Park on Friday September 27.

The event will take place the night before the Docklands Festival, a new dance event with some of the biggest events in electronic music.

The Summertime Live concert will be headlined by The Urban Soul Orchestra, who bring balearic beats to life with their Classic Ibiza show which features DJs and live vocalists.

Anthems like Insomnia by Faithless, Darude's Sandstorm, Born Slippy by Underworld and more are all on the set list which will be the soundtrack to a light and laser show inside a Big Top in the city centre park.

Summertime Live sold out events for thousands in Windsor, Lingfield and Brighton earlier this year, but is making its first appearance in Southampton.

Organisers Jonathan Ware and Anthony Ellis told the Daily Echo: "The Classic Ibiza show is truly amazing, re-living dance classics with a live orchestra makes for a great show. Expect goose bumps all round!

"We’ve been all over the south with this concept this year and Southampton came up as a city that we think would be great for it, so we had to bring the Urban Soul Orchestra here. We can't believe the response so far."

Doors will open at 5pm and revellers can expect live performers, street food, Prosecco bars, glitter make up stalls, funfair rides and more.

A warm up act will take to the stage at 6.30pm with a chill out set from 7.45pm. The 8.45pm interval will include a live DJ followed by a dance set and laser light show from 9.30pm. The concert should end around 10.45pm.
