A SOUTHAMPTON man who stole toothpaste has been given a curfew.
Christopher Jed O’Reilly stole the toothpaste, worth £34, from Poundland in Southampton on April 18.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, the 43-year-old pleaded guilty to theft.
He also admitted breaching a community order, by breaching the terms of his curfew.
O’Reilly, of Landguard Road, Southampton, was made the subject of a nine month community order, including a 16 week electronically monitored curfew.
He was also ordered to complete a drug dependency programme, complete a 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and pay a £85 victim surcharge.
