THOUSANDS of visitors are expected to flock to a country show next weekend.

Billed as one of the largest one-day show in the South, The Romsey Show is predicted to attract approximately 25,000 people, according to a show official.

Show secretary, Alexa Morson, said: "We expect between 20,000 and 25,000 people to turn up and last year there were 21,500 visitors.

"We are so grateful to all the volunteers and business who give up their time to support The Romsey Show.

"We couldn’t put on such a fantastic event without them all. Don’t miss out on an exciting opportunity to learn more about the countryside in a hands-on environment."
