PRODUCERS of this year’s Mayflower panto Peter Pan are looking for four boys to appear alongside Marti Pellow, Darren Day, Jaymi Hensley and The Grumbleweeds.

Qdos Entertainments are gearing up for the swashbuckling adventure this Christmas and need talented local youngsters to fill the roles of Michael and John.

To join the auditions, which will take place at Richard Taunton College on September 21, boys must be six plus with singing and acting ability and be no more than 4’ 6” tall for Michael and no more than 4’ 8” for John.

Those chosen to take part will need to prepare a monologue, poem or rhyme to present and be prepared to read from the script of the show.

Qdos Entertainment are the world’s biggest pantomime producer and the team behind the annual Mayflower Theatre panto for the last seven years, including last year’s smash hit Dick Whittington, pictured, which starred Steve McFadden, Joe McElderry, Bobby Davro, Sheila Ferguson and Suzanne Shaw.

This year’s production will feature original music written by former Wet Wet Wet frontman and musical theatre star Marti Pellow, an eye-popping galleon, magical special effects and the biggest crocodile to ever be seen on the south coast.

Retro comedy band The Grumbleweeds will provide plenty of laugh out loud comedy, while the show will also star actor, singer and presenter Darren Day and Jaymi Hensley of X Factor and Union J fame

Packed to the crows-nest with spectacular special effects, music, and action, Peter Pan will run from December 14 to January 5.
