HUNDREDS of petrol heads flocked to a car show in support of Naomi House & Jacksplace.

The Concorde Club Classic and Sports Car Show drew in residents of all ages where they could marvel at vehicles ranging from Lamborghinis to the famous Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car.

Organisers of the annual motor show are looking to raise a total of £100,000 for the hospice, adding onto approximately £91,000 they have raised over the years.

Rob Heard, the show organiser, said: "We call this a garden party for car enthusiasts, but this has such a beautiful feeling to it.

"We also have a big Scalextric track and at the end of the show that track will be auctioned off."

Mike Smith, one of the show organisers from the Rotary Club of Eastleigh, said; "We have been running this for 11 years and this year I think we can safely say we will top £100,000."

The show was held by Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh, on September 1.
