A TOWN football club went head to head an American club as part of a global partnership programme.
Romsey Town Youth FC (RTYFC) hosted Coppermine FC from Baltimore as part of Southampton FC Academy global partnership program at Mountbatten School.
This included games for the U9 Panthers, U11 Cougars and U13 Lions.
RTYFC football development, Dave Purkess, said: "We are delighted again to have been asked by our friends at Saints to host Coppermine FC, we had some fantastic games, played in great spirit, with large support from families from the USA and from Romsey."
RTYFC chair, Simon Jupp, added: “This is part of us trying to grow the profile of the club to develop and provide opportunities for young players and follows last weeks game against another USA team - we’ve certainly created some good connections with like minded clubs in the US."
