PLANS to turn a family home into a house of multiple occupations have been submitted to civic chiefs.
The family home on Mayfield Road could be turned into a five-bed HMO should proposals be approved by civic chiefs.
The plans have had one objection from Mrs Andreas of Mayfield Road, who said in a letter to the council: "There's far too many properties made into HMO. As I'm a elderly person it will affect me personally.
"Too many cars, more bins and much more noise as I have already a house on the other side of me with that is already a HMO and its a nightmare.
"There is plenty of student accommodation down the road so why build these if these houses are doing the same."
A decision is yet to be made on the property.
