A TWO-foot snake was removed by firefighters after they were called to a Hampshire home.
Crews were called to the scene during the afternoon of Friday August 11 after a woman was shocked to find the giant snake in a larder at Heron Wood Road in Aldershot.
It was discovered that it was a grass snake and was taken away using snake sticks and a pillow case by the RSPCA alongside animal rescue advisor Paul Rance, who is based at Lyndhurst.
The reptile was not harmed in the process and was released into its woodland habitat.
Firefighters left the scene at 3.49pm.
