A SOUTHAMPTON man who stole a steam iron and a razor blades has been jailed.
Marc Andrew Palmer stole the £60 Phillipps steam iron from John Lewis at Westquay on January 22.
He also stole £123 of razor blades from Tesco in Eastleigh on May 26.
Palmer also jointly interfered with a Vauxhall Corsa, in an intention to steal the vehicle.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to the offence of interfering with a vehicle and two counts of theft.
Palmer, of Northam Road, Southampton, also pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to surrender to bail.
Magistrates jailed him for a total of 12 weeks.
