A BUSY Southampton road has been closed following a crash involving a bus.
Coxford Road has been closed after a car hit the back of a First bus.
The road has been closed by police from the junction of Springford Road to the junction of Aldermoor Road.
The bus was from the First number three route and was hit while at the bus stop for the Southampton General Hospital.
The driver of the car needed medical attention but all passengers of the bus were unharmed.
The road has now been reopened.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: "We were called at 11.23am
Collision involving a car and a bus, Coxford Road.
"Drive of the car is the only person requiring medical attention at the scene.
"All passengers off the bus and uninjured.
The road was later reopened.
