DRIVERS are facing delays on a Southampton motorway following a fuel spillage.
Congestion is occurring on the M271 southbound between its junctions with Brownhill Way and the A35 at the Redbridge roundabout.
Police say the road was closed at 1.40pm following a diesel spillage.
A Highways England spokesman said the road was expected to return to normal by 5.45pm.
He added: "There are currently delays of ten minutes."
