TWO Southampton music artists are flying high with the pre-orders of their album - sitting between Taylor Swift and Westlife in the iTunes chart.

Urban rappers Tyrone & Warbz are determined to put the city on the map.

In their latest effort to highlight the delights of Southampton, they are due to release Welcome to SO on Friday, but are already receiving amazing support through pre-orders.

The iTunes pre orders chart is topped by No 6 Collaborations Project, the fourth studio album from celebrated singer songwriter Ed Sheeran.

The top five also includes former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher's latest solo effort Why Me? Why Not, and compilation album Now That's What I Call Music! 103.

Welcome to SO currently lies sixth in the chart.

Tyrone told the Daily Echo: "We really try to represent the city with everything we do and we want to give the city's music scene the attention it deserves."

The pair are set to celebrate the album release with a debut headline Joiners show on Sunday, which sold out in just 12 hours.

They have been featured on the biggest urban YouTube platform three times with a total amount of 120,000 plus views. YouTube channel GRM Daily, has previously hosted music from the likes of Skepta and Lethal Bizzle.

Tyrone & Warbz also have more than 800,000 Spotify streams.

In their latest fun stunt, they are personally hand delivering SO hats which have been purchased by hundreds of local buyers.
