POLICE are appealing to trace a wanted teenager.

Hampshire Constabulary are appealing for information about an 18 year old who has failed to appear at Southampton magistrates court on three occasions to face charges of offence of possession of a knife in a public place and threatening behaviour.

The teenager, Chorley Laxton, according to police is "believed to be in the Southampton area" and he is also wanted for aggravated vehicle taking when it was reported a car was taken from outside a home on Olive Road on June 5.

Laxton is also subject to a criminal behaviour order, which he has breached.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: "We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate him and would now like to ask the public’s assistance in finding him. "

The teenager is described as white, slim, 5 feet 9 inches tall with dark blond hair and blue eyes.

A spokesperson added: "We would like to make clear that anyone found to be helping Laxton evade is also committing an offence and are liable for arrest themselves.
