THE windows of a Woolston charity shop were smashed overnight last week.
It happened during the early hours of July 5, however the building on Victoria Road was not entered and nothing was stolen from the premises.
This comes after YMCA Woolston nursery, situated on the same road, was targeted for burglary after its windows were smashed and a safe was stolen during the early hours of July 4.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We received a report that windows had been smashed at a charity shop on Victoria Road in Woolston.
“This took place some time overnight on 4 July into the early hours of the morning on 5 July.
They added: “Entry was not gained and nothing was reported stolen.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44190232540.”
