AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a Hampshire man who is thought to have been suffering from hypothermia.
Winchester Coroner's Court heard 90-year-old Leslie Smith, of Mount Pleasant, Bighton, died on February 8.
In a report to the coroner, pathologist Dr Adnan Al-Badri gave a preliminary cause of death of multiple organ failure, contributed to by hypothermia.
Senior coroner Grahame Short adjourned the inquest to October 29.
