A SOUTHAMPTON man was found hanging at a city home a week after his 30th birthday.
Jordan Kaye died at a property in Bloomsbury Walk, Woolston, on May 16, an inquest heard.
The body was identified to PC Matthew Jones by Mr Kaye's stepfather Richard Collins.
A post-mortem on Mr Kaye, of Goldcrest Gardens, Lordswood, was carried out at Southampton General Hospital by consultant pathologist Dr Victoria Elliot.
The cause of death was hanging, pending toxicology tests.
Senior coroner Grahame Short adjourned the hearing to be resumed in Winchester on October 7.
