THE first of the main acts performing at next month’s Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury has been unveiled.

Internationally renowned tribute band Björn Again will headline the main stage at Hudson’s Field on Sunday performing many of ABBA’s greatest hits, bringing the three-day event to a close.

Björn Again is hailed as the most successful act of its kind in the world, has been acknowledged by ABBA’s Agnetha, Benny and Björn, and played more than 5,000 performances in 72 countries.

Baroness Scott of Bybrook OBE, leader of Wiltshire Council, said: “Who can resist getting up on the dance floor when an ABBA hit comes on? Björn Again appeals to all ages and will be a lovely way to bring this fantastic weekend celebrating our troops to a close. I’m sure they’ll have everyone at Hudson’s Field singing along and dancing.”

Free tickets for the three days are now available online but are going fast. You can book yours by visiting wiltshire.gov.uk/salisbury-afd.
