The scene of the crash on Bassett Avenue, Southampton
A PERSON has been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on a Southampton road.
Emergency services were called to Bassett Avenue, near the junction with Glen Eyre Road, at 10.35pm last night.
*22:35* @Eastleigh32 and @Redbridge53 assisted with a road traffic collision in Bassett Ave, Southampton. 2 cars were involved and 1 person was extricated and taken to hospital by @SCAS999. #OneTeam

Fire crews from Eastleigh and Redbridge cut a person from one of the vehicles and they were taken to hospital by South Central Ambulance Service.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
