BOOK store chain The Works will be opening its 500th store tomorrow at its new location in The Brooks Shopping Centre.
To celebrate the occasion, the family-friendly value retailer will be giving away freebies to its first 500 paying customers on the day.
The new store will next to TK Maxx on the lower level and the opening has generated six jobs.
Lisa Evans, office manager at the shopping centre, said: “We are delighted the time has finally come for The Works to reopen here at The Brooks Shopping Centre.
"The centre had an excellent 2018 with the addition of numerous retailers including: TK Maxx, Energie Fitness and Signature Beauty.
"The store will be a fantastic addition to the already strong and diverse offering at the centre.”
