WHY doesn't the city council have a contract for removal of fire damaged/vandalised vehicles that includes removal of all the associated toxic detritus?
I have been slowly removing the remains on the car park at Victoria Road/Woolston Jetty after the wreck of a burnt-out car was removed about three weeks ago.
The photo shows what is still left there today. It will be another two trips for me with my handcart to remove it all.
This seems to happen every time either a motorbike or car is set on fire by hooligans.
