A WOMAN has been fined after her bad driving caused a motorcyclist to suffer a broken leg.
Alice Victoria Berry, 29, did a three-point turn and collided with a motorbike. Its rider Nedko Nedev was flung off and fractured his leg, a court heard.
Berry, of Park Lane, Twyford, near Winchester, admitted driving without due care and attention in an 18-reg VW Polo on the A3057 at Ashfield near Romsey on July 10 last year.
The court heard Berry was travelling south towards Southampton undertook the manoeuvre when she saw the road ahead was closed. But she collided head-on with Mr Nedev who was going southbound.
Magistrates in Basingstoke fined her £270 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Six penalty points were added to her driving licence.
