A MAN has been injured in a serious assault in a Southampton street.
Police say a man suffered injuries to his head, legs and back in the incident, off Derby Road.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
A 28-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He remains in police custody at this time.
