EMERGENCY services were called out after a woman got stuck in mud at a Hampshire beauty spot this morning.
The woman had gone on to the mud at Fareham Creek to try to rescue her dog who had run off.
Hillhead Coastguard Rescue Team received a call at 7.40am and arrived on the scene shortly after.
The woman had attempted to recover her dog from mud but had herself became stuck in the process.
According to the rescue team the dog was fine and had managed to free itself.
The woman had also managed to free herself by the time they got there and no "equipment was employed".
She did not require medical treatment.
The coast guard urge anyone stuck in mud not to panic, to spread their weight and Dial 999.
