A HIT-AND-RUN driver has been jailed.
Unlicensed Gordon Freeman fled the scene of a crash in Romsey – which left a family "traumatised".
The 33-year-old was driving a Peugeot 407 on Romsey Road when he was involved in the crash, on October 14.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard how Freeman fled the scene, leaving the family to "deal with the trauma" of the crash.
Magistrates jailed Freeman, of Hampton Road, Andover, for four months.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.
