THE centre of Netley is being left to rot by Hampshire County Council.
For over a year now the railings in the very heart of the village have been broken and replaced with unsightly yellow hazard signs. Ironically, these have fallen down and are now a hazard in themselves!
Thousands of visitors pass this mess on the way to Victoria Country Park and it looks a complete eyesore.
This is the second time that Hampshire County Council have failed to look after Netley – last time it also took them over a year to fix the very same railings.
I bet this wouldn’t happen if it were Winchester !
Hampshire County Council: treat us with the same respect that you have for Winchester. Please fix our village.
