A SOUTHAMPTON busker refused police demands to move outside a city supermarket.
Officers ordered Jonathan Walker leave the area, after he was seen busking with a guitar outside Sainsbury's in Shirley.
They issued the 49-year-old with a dispersal order – demanding he leave the Shirley High Street area and not return for 48 hours.
But when officers returned hours later on December 8, they discovered Walker was still there.
He was arrested by police.
Walker, who did not attend his hearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, was found guilty of breaching a dispersal order in his absence.
He was fined £250 by magistrates.
Walker, of Graham Road, Southampton, was also ordered to pay £620 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £30.
