FIREFIGHTERS have been called after a building was evacuated in Eastleigh.
Staff at A Plan Insurance have left the building on High Street, near the junction with Wells Place, and have been outside for at least 40 minutes.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "We were called to an alarm sounding at a shop on High Street, Eastleigh, at 2.10pm.
“One crew from Eastleigh attended.
“The shop has been evacuated, but there is no sign of fire.
“The alarm is still sounding, so the crew is currently investigating.”
