POLICE have arrested a second a man as part of a murder investigation in Eastleigh.
Officers say a 29-year-old man, from Eastleigh, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
It comes after officers were called at 5.44am on Sunday 10 March to a report of two vehicles colliding with a pedestrian on Woodside Avenue.
The pedestrian, a 23-year-old man from Chandler's Ford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 26-year-old man from Eastleigh, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder, remains in police custody.
Officers are continuing their enquiries to ascertain the exact circumstances of how the man died.
