TWO cars have crashed on a Hampshire level crossing, bringing trains to a standstill.
All trains between Southampton Central Station and Bournemouth were stopped after the crash, near Brockenhurst station.
Two cars, a Land Rover and a Vauxhall, crashed on the crossing, blocking both the A337 and the railway line.
Power on the line was switched off following the crash, which took place around 6am, to allow the vehicles to be recovered.
Both cars have now been moved and the road is now clear.
Train services between Southampton Central and Bournemouth, as well as the Lymington branch line, were blocked.
All lines have since been reopened.
