A MAN was caught performing a sex act on himself on a train in Southampton.
Phillip Austin performed the act in front of another passenger while on a train at Southampton Central Station, a court was told.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court the 29-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of outraging public decency.
Yesterday, Austin, of Wills Road, Poole, was made the subject of a community order, which will last until 2022.
Austin was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge and court costs totalling £170.
