Recent cases at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

James Andrew Kirby, 49, of Mercer Way, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to assault. Fined £180 with £85 costs and told to pay £100 compensation.

Damien Michael Phear, 29, of Hollybank Close, Hythe. Pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of Smirnoff vodka valued at £16 from Asda. Three-month conditional discharge, £85 costs, £16 compensation order.

Lee Terry Gibbon, 35, of Spring Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to possessing class A drug. Fined £120, £40 costs, £20 victim services surcharge.

Sebastian Hendel, 32, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to criminal damage. One-year conditional discharge, told to pay £25 costs, £20 victim services surcharge and £25 compensation.

Emily Sarah Louise Clayton, 26, of Wavell Road, Southampton. Found guilty of stealing £230. Community order, £85 victim services surcharge.

Richard Michael Lloyd, 49, of Grange Park, Hedge End. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with notifications requirements under the Sexual Offences Act 2003. Community order, £85 costs, £85 victim services surcharge. Also pleaded guilty to breaching suspended prison sentence. Fined £250.

Justin John Goulding, 39, of Butts Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Committed to prison for one month (concurrent) for each offence, told to pay £115 victim services surcharge.

Jonathan Paul Bradsworth, 49, of Long Lane, Holbury. Pleaded guilty to breaching community order. Told to do a further 16 hours of unpaid work and pay £30 costs.

Anthony John Cross, 54, of The Acorns, Bursledon. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with community order. Fined £40 with £40 costs.

Michael Patrick O'Reilly, 27, of Warren Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with community order. Told to complete a further 25 hours of unpaid work, fined £30.

Pawel Zylka, 36, of Albert Road South, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with community order. Told to complete a further 30 hours of unpaid work, fined £60.
