Downs Park Avenue, Totton
POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses after a man forced his way into a Totton home, threatened the occupants and stole a wallet and handbag.
He then left the house on Downs Park Avenue, and walked down a gravel path towards Bartley Water marshland.
Police say they want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident - which happened at about 12.35 on January 30.
A 28 year old man from Totton has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is in custody.
