AS Hampshire prepares for potential snowfall, the Daily Echo takes a glimpse back to February and March last year and the invasion of the beast from the east.
Schools were closed, roads were eerily void of vehicles and people stayed cosy in the warmth and comfort of their own homes - unless they were crafting a snowman in the back garden of course.
Train services were cancelled and people were warned to check on elderly or vulnerable neighbours.
