IT was a time when many footballers in stadiums and on grass-root pitches donned moustaches and mullets.
These pictures were taken in 1984 - the same year as Liverpool became the first English club to win three major trophies in the same year.
The team not only won the Football League First Division and the Football League Cup, but they were also victorious against AS Roma in the European Cup.
The FA Cup that year was lifted by Everton after a 2-0 win over Watford at Wembley Stadium.
