THE following cases were among those that were heard at Southampton Magistrates Court:

Lee Richard Clothier, 46, of Alderney Close, Lordshill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order. Given a community order, and ordered to pay costs of £85 and an £85 victim surcharge.

Stephen Ralph, 35, of St Mary’s Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing a jacket worth £329 from John Lewis Southampton. Jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, fined £100 and ordered to pay £329 in compensation.

Harry David John Wheeler, 25, of Redcroft Lane, Bursledon. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 14 months, fined £600 and ordered to pay £600 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Audrius Balciunas, 31, of no fixed address. Admitted breaching a community order. Jailed for 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £115 victim surcharge.

David Ian Hughes, 55, Charlton Close, Bournemouth. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving on the M3 Southbound at junction 14. Also pleaded guilty to not having insurance. Disqualified from driving for one year, fined £500 and ordered to pay court costs totalling £115.

Tomas Toliusis, 47, of Twyford Avenue, Portsmouth. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Canute Road, Southampton. Disqualified from driving for 40 months, fined £800 and ordered to pay court costs totalling £165.

Daniel James Squibb, 29, of Northam Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging door belonging to Southampton City Council. Fined £120, ordered to pay compensation of £174 and a victim surcharge of £30.

Ian Robert Mackenzie, 48, of Peewit Hill, Bursledon. Pleaded guilty to possession of amphetamine, a class-B drug. Also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and insurance in Eastleigh. Fined a total of £240, given six points on licence and ordered to pay a total of £115 in court costs.

Adrian-Ionut Surugiu, 26, of Suffolk Avenue, Southampton. Failed to give information relating to identification of driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £440, disqualified from driving for six months and ordered to pay court costs totalling £129.

Steven David Drury, 42, of Sedbergh Road, Southampton. Indicated guilty plea to stealing from Ikea in Southampton. Also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to West Hampshire Magistrates’ Court. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, fined £120, ordered to pay compensation of £60 and court costs totalling £105.

David Phillip Rope, 61, of Crows Nest Lane, Botley. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Crows Nest Lane. Disqualified from driving for 21 months, fined £400 and ordered to pay court costs totalling £125.

Ryszard Wladyslaw Kulka, 40, of Fuchsia Gardens, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding on the A35 Tolpuddle Bypass, Tolpuddle Ball, by driving at speeds exceeding 60mph. Fined £120, given three points on licence and ordered to pay court costs totalling £115.

Colin Denis Robins, 62, of Wykeham Road, Netley Abbey. Pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention on Itchen Bridge, after crashing into vehicle which had stopped in queuing traffic ahead. Fined £250, given four points on licence and ordered to pay court costs totalling £115.

Jacek Rafal Czarnota, 36, Highcliff Avenue, Southampton. Found guilty of being registered to a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements of Road Traffic Act. Also found guilty of keeping unlicensed vehicle on the road. Fined total of £440, ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £41.67, and ordered to pay court costs of £200.
