l THE Micheldever Variety Group will be performing their rendition of Aladdin at Northbrook Hall towards the end of the month.

The group is a non profit organisation to support the village with donations to the village hall, the church and other village groups.

Aladdin will run from January 24 until January 26.

There will be a 7.30pm performance on each of the days and a 2.30pm matinee on the last.

Tickets cost £9 each and can be purchased by emailing ticketsmgv@gmail.com. Concessions are available.

l The next monthly 'Blues Jam' event at South Wonston Social Club will be on February 4.

It will start at 8.30pm and finish at around 11pm.

Residents are invited to play along or just listen to the music.

l THE yoga classes held at Victoria Hall in Sutton Scotney have resumed after taking time off for Christmas.

They will run every Monday, starting at 7pm.

Drop-in attendance costs £7 per person and a block of five weeks costs £30.

Student discounts are available and all people of all abilities can join.

l AMATEUR dramatics group Barton Stacey VIPs will perform a new show in February.

Rock Bottom will be at the All Saints Church in The Street, Barton Stacey, on the first and second of the month.

Both showings will start at 7.30pm and tickets are on sale at the village post office, also located in The Street.

l THE next South Wonston Village Cinema event will be held in the Village Hall at 7.30pm on January 19.

The film will be Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and tickets in advance cost £5 from South Wonston Village Stores, or from David Selby on 01962 881796.

There will also be the chance to pay £6 on the door.
