EMERGENCY crews freed a girl from a Hampshire river after she got stuck in mud.
Two fire engines, a support vehicle and coastguards attended the scene at Manor Farm Country Park in Pyland's Lane in Bursledon at 12:30pm on January 3.
The eight year old girl got stuck in the mud by a jetty on the Hamble river.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue attended sent two fire crews from Hightown and one support vehicle to the scene.
A spokesperson from South Central Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 12:36 yesterday when a female child became stuck in the mud near Bursledon.
"We sent to the scene a rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew to check her over, thankfully she did not require hospital treatment."
