I WONDER if the Southampton City Council collection and recycling of household plastic items will compensate for the destruction of the grey plastic glass bottle recycling bins due to rough handling by the contractors.

I notice that more than half of these bins in my area are damaged in a similar way to mine, probably through being hurled back to each house from the collecting vehicle.
