A FATHER and baby were rescued by a fire crew after getting locked in a supermarket toilet.
Firefighters were called to Lidl at the Castle Trading Estate in Portchester after a dad and his three month old baby could not get out of a locked toilet cubicle.
The crew, from nearby Portchester Fire Station, then helped to break the pair out.
The incident was later reported on Twitter.
The tweet said: "We were mobilised to persons locked in a toilet at a local supermarket.
"This was a difficult job as the door should’ve been on a bank vault not a toilet!
"Dad and three-month-old baby were all fine when we got the door open."
